The third appearance of the Justice League would, you'd think, garner a hell of a lot more abuse than this copy of The Brave and the Bold #30 suffered at the hands of David. I'm gonna write that off as a consequence of Batman and Superman telling their agents to keep them out of the group until they were sure it would be more Beatles than Monkees. Either way, this is a solid 10.2 on the DBD scale. It was 9.2, but we thought it was particularly funny that Green Lantern is holding his leg in exactly the spot where David tore the cover — like Hal's trying to stanch the bleeding from David's attack. That deserves an extra point.
