I swear to God I have never understood why anyone would pay real money for this comic. A mint copy goes for more than $14,000! But there's not one story that appears here for the first time -- it's all reprints! This is a comic every DC geek should own: the origins of the Superman-Batman team; of Adam Strange; of Green Lantern; of Wonder Woman; of Martian Manhunter; and of The Flash! (And, if you count text, a one-page story of the origin of the team of Green Arrow and Speedy. But I don't count text.) So you should own this comic ... but you shouldn't pay any money for it. And thanks to David beating the crap out of this 19.5 DBD-rated copy, you won't have to pay much at all!
