Oaxacan Futures — EjutlaThe Ejutla region of Oaxaca is filled with numerous pueblos full of amazing people and delicious mezcal. Due to the social-distancing measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the vast majority of community events and visits from tourists and mezcal enthusiasts have been canceled. Understandably, these cancellations, coupled with the global slow-down of the spirits and hospitality industries, have left many Ejutecos feeling incredibly nervous about the future. Nevertheless, they continue the tradition of producing their incredible mezcal, as they have for generations. |
